Eh whats the requirement? The mods are ok but 2k seems a little high for such minimal mods.

Umm. i dont know what game you people are playing. but Manic Smile was the only one to slightly sound like he is playing GUILD WARS.
"The One Casey Squid", sorry man you REALLY got ripped of. This is often done to new GW players by people in ascalon saying its a "great starter weapon" for "real cheap!!" When in reality this is only half the truth... Sure max dmg AND low requirement are a GREAT starting weapon. for around 500 gold at MOST 1000 gold. The mods themselves are nearly worthless themselves. Lets add. The bow alone should be say 600 gold. Firey dmg mod 200g ? Shelter Mod +5 is worth absolutely ZILTCH! this all equals under 1000 gold. Sorry for the bad news. You my friend are just another statistic to the victims of Guild Wars jerks. (i.e. They take advantage of new players). Join a guild ANY guild. if they arent all immature little kids, most likely a guild mate would GIVE you a weapon like that.... Hope you fair better in your travels through Tyria. Next time you arent sure bout something in GW, then DONT DO IT! Find the info first... enjoy!! |

It is a FLATBOW and that's long range and good speed. I don't think 2k was overcharging him. There's always going to be those that want everything for free and cheap though and tout things like it's not worth 500gp or 600gp. The price of items are worth what one believes they are worth to THEM not what someone else says. You didn't get ripped off, you got an exceptional bow and as easy as 2k is to make a real nice deal.

The bow itself is worth nothing being too far from max dmg.
I would salvage with expert kit for one of the 2 mods (hope for the +30). If you dont wanna risk sell it for 5k and let other ppl take the risk. btw for price checks there's a dedicated section in these forums; for every matter concerning weapons prices take a look there. |

look, dude, if you're going to freak out about an answer you don't like, why ask the question?
if you've got plenty of dough, and it's a bow you wanted, just enjoy it. it must be a fair deal to you or you wouldn't have closed it. I have no idea about the value of the clean bow, but that guy was right on about the mods. |

lol i agree. If you plan on buying a bow why buy a crappy clean 1 if u have the money? Also that Thornbeards horn bow I've seen for 2-3k at droks before . So yea don't freak out over the 2k and all but with thoose mods its just not worth it .
